The Intel vPro® platform is an integrated, validated platform with built-in features for performance, security, manageability, and stability. Remote management with Intel® Active Management Technology allows IT administrators to remotely monitor, remediate and recover an infected device, even if it is out of band.

Advantech leverages Active Management Technologies (AMT) with specific capabilities in industrial devices and with its DeviceOn software and iBMC technology, built on the 10th Gen Intel platform. The new out-of-band management solution, iBMC, is an intelligent board management controller developed to simplify the management of remote systems and edge devices. By enabling corrective action through remote out-of-band power management, Advantech’s iBMC not only eliminates onsite maintenance, but also reduces system downtime and operational costs.
