The DeviceOn Module is a combination of hardware and firmware, with the functionality to collect and aggregate data and then forward to the cloud platform of choice, to be analysed and visualised.
The hardware module is an M2.COM compliant module incorporating three elements; a set of IO interfaces, a wireless radio modem and an ARM Cortex-M4 processor. The DeviceOn firmware stack provides all of the software functionality needed to interface with the IO, giving dynamic sensor configuration, sensor and event handling, along with data caching and event based or bulk transfer, to fully utilise the low power capabilities of wireless transmission (through LoRaWAN, BLE or NB-IoT, depending on the module selected).

The DeviceOn Module can be incorporated on to either standard Advantech or custom carrier boards, to enable the fast-tracking of smart connected sensor solutions. New sensor solutions can quickly and easily be brought to market by leveraging the out of the box capabilities of the DeviceOn Module, allowing sensor manufacturers to concentrate on their own core development expertise.
